With other artists from the illustrators’ collective Brolly Lolly, I designed and delivered public workshops at the annual East London Comic Arts Fair between 2015 and 2019.

‘We Build This City’ – a workshop that invited participants to contribute to a paper city that grew throughout the afternoon until we filled a long table with colourful architecture.

‘Puppet Jungle’ – creating paper animal puppets using coloured card, split pins and sticks to animate them. We created a puppet theatre as part of the workshop for little performances.

‘Frankenstein’s Library’ – this workshop cannibalised old magazines and damaged books to create a library of new books, using collage and basic book-binding techniques.

‘Cloud Beast Masks’ – a workshop to come and imagine what kind of creatures might live in the clouds, and make a paper mask to become cloud beasts ourselves.
